Symptoms can include insomnia, feeling extremely stressed often, feeling nervous or anxious frequently, and sleeping too much. Symptoms can also be physical as well. Headaches, excessive sweating, shivering or trembling, and muscle strains are just a few.

Use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Although medication and CBT are equally effective in fighting anxiety, CBT is better at preventing return of the disorder. Moreover Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is also a widely preferred method among anxiety patients. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy also enhances the chances of producing more brain circuits that mends the dysfunctional response system CBT also has an edge over other medication in making the people know the circumstances where they trigger anxietyThat actually changes metabolic activity in the cortex, the thinking brain, to modulate mood states.It works from the top down. It is not uncommon for a person experiencing an anxiety attack to have heart palpitations, and possibly suffer a heart attack.

Anxiety and Exercise

You can’t get away from exercise when it comes to any therapy countering anxiety attacks.Exercise directly alters levels of neurohormones involved in circuits of emotion. It calms the hyperactivity of the nervous system and improves function of the brain’s emotion-sensing network.It also enhances the ability of the body to tolerate stress.It  changes people’s perception of themselves, providing a sense of personal mastery and positive self-regard. What more? It clears your mid of negative thoughts as wel.However, just telling a distressed person to exercise is futile, as depression destroys initiative.
